“I spent my life folded between the pages of books. In the absence of human relationships I formed bonds with paper characters. I lived love and loss through stories threaded in history; I experienced adolescence by association. My world is one interwoven web of words, stringing limb to limb, bone to sinew, thoughts and images all together. I am a being comprised of letters, a character created by sentences, a figment of imagination formed through fiction.”

Random Reads

Hey Y'all,

I've been browsing blogs lately and I came across a really cool meme hosted by Sarah over at I'm Loving Books

It's this really cool event for users of Goodreads. It helps you choose your next book, and like the picture/poster says it's "in honor of books who always get picked last" Here's how it works:

  1. If you’re on Goodreads enable sorting to your to-read shelf (you should see numbers next to each book now).
  2. Go to Random.org and type in the Min as 1 and the Max as how many ever books are on your to-read shelf. (**NOTE TO READERS OF THIS BLOG**we've put the random generator on the side of this blog, towards the bottom)
  3. Scroll down to the book matching the number Random.org picks.
  4. Link up to your Random Reads post (below).
  5. Read and be merry.
Here's a how to picture in case you are still slightly confused as to how this works.

So I tried it out and I am super excited that the random generator picked:

DRUM ROLL PLEASE..........................................................................................................

Embrace by Jessica Shirvington!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This book has been on my to-read list since March 5, 2012! I am super excited to soon read it. (not right away but it's NEXT on my list.)

So you will probably be getting a review on it soon...but first I have to go out and buy it......

You guys should all participate in this! Comment with the book you turned out with! (don't forget to sign up on Sarah's blog)

Since we are a user friendly blog and want all of our readers to be able to read the comments please add " **SPOILER ALERT** " to your post if it applies. Thanks for your consideration!
